01 / Prepare your staging store
Back up files and database. Confirm PHP, Magento, Hyvä access and any commercial dependencies. Start with staging, not a live store. Obtain the selected VeloFront release and its versioned installation guide.
02 / Install your chosen package
Follow the delivered Composer instructions and verify the release checksum. Install shared modules only once; use compatible versions across themes. Follow the Magento deployment process for setup, dependency injection, static assets and cache.
Demo content is optional. Review the importer options in the delivered release guide. Common commands for the reference demo are:
Jewelry
bin/magento velofront:demo:importBeauty
bin/magento velofront:beauty:import --create-storeClothing
bin/magento velofront:clothing:import --create-store --with-footer --with-variantsUse store-creation and demo flags only when appropriate to your staging installation. Existing merchant data and store scopes require care.
03 / Make it your own
Assign the correct theme to the intended Store View. Configure header, footer, menu, announcements, content and checkout. Replace sample product facts, images, contact details and retailer policies. Check catalog, options, cart and checkout on desktop and mobile.
04 / Keep a known-good release
Read the changelog and migration guide. Back up, test updates on staging, verify customizations and your integrations, then deploy with a rollback plan. Keep Magento, Hyvä and other dependencies patched independently.
